Conference Attendance Update
Posted on Friday, September 29, 2006 ASPO USA
We’re very much looking forward to seeing you all at the conference in Boston. Last year in Denver we were joined by a total of 450 attendees combined during the two-day event and actually had to turn a few potential attendees away over the last two days because we had hit the conference venue’s limits. At this time we have around 250 attendees signed up - about the same as we had at a similar point in registration process last year (four weeks from the event). Since the Boston University conference venue can accommodate up to 600 attendees, we hope you’ll past the word along to colleagues that there will likely be space remaining to join us this late in the registration process.

Climate Change: Pre-conference evening event, Oct 25th
Posted on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 ASPO USA
Don’t forget to attend the panel of speakers providing an update on climate change the night before the conference’s official start. The 7 p.m. event is open to the public. A 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar is planned for paid conference attendees prior to the 7 p.m. evening panel. Both events will be held in the Trustee’s Ballroom at the School of Management. Conference attendees must check in at registration prior to attending the reception.

Regular Registration Ends October 9, 2006

Our conference fees are still very low but will increase October 9, 2006 and could close if the conference sells out as it did in 2005. Register today to ensure you can attend!

Mayor Thomas Menino Invites You to The Boston World Oil Conference
Posted on Monday, September 04, 2006 ASPO USA
"None of us can sit back and wait for our energy problems to solve themselves. The City of Boston has been actively engaged in ways to reduce our municipal energy use and purchase more of our power from renewable sources. I commend ASPO-USA for holding this conference and offering attendees a chance to think critically about the world's energy supplies and find solutions to this problem."
