<description>Yemen is heavily dependent on oil production as most Arabian producer countries. I studied the Yemen oil decline recently, and the results indicate that there is a shortage in proven oil reserve in addition to other issues. Despite of Yemen is the last country in Arabian Peninsula that started oil production in 1986 but the oil decline started too early. Actually, most oil companies were concentrated in two basins only beside the old fields in blocks 18 and 14. That means there is a potentiality to discover new oil but requires a petroleum vision or modern management.
